1. Your Statutory Rights
The SuppaTech warranty is provided in addition to your statutory consumer rights.
It does not replace, restrict or reduce those rights.
Under UK consumer law, goods supplied by a retailer must meet applicable legal requirements, including being of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose where applicable and as described.
Your statutory rights may continue to apply after this warranty has expired.
2. Warranty Period
Unless a different warranty period is clearly stated on the individual product page, SuppaTech provides the following warranty periods:
New and New – Open Box laptops and desktop PCs: 24 months from the date of delivery.
Refurbished Grade A and Grade B products: 12 months from the date of delivery.
Used products: 6 months from the date of delivery.
New monitors: 24 months from the date of delivery.
New accessories (including keyboards and mice): 12 months from the date of delivery. Used accessories have a 6-month warranty.
The applicable condition of the product will be stated on its product page.
The SuppaTech warranty applies within the United Kingdom.
These warranty periods apply to the voluntary SuppaTech warranty. They do not limit or replace your statutory consumer rights. In particular, expiry of the 6-month, 12-month or 24-month SuppaTech warranty does not necessarily mean that you no longer have statutory rights if goods are faulty.
3. What the Warranty Covers
Subject to the exclusions below, the SuppaTech warranty covers hardware faults arising during normal use that are attributable to a defect in the product.
Depending on the circumstances, we may:
- diagnose the reported fault;
- repair the product;
- replace the faulty product or component with an appropriate equivalent; or
- provide another appropriate resolution.
Where a replacement is necessary, an exact replacement may not always be available. In such cases, we may offer an appropriate equivalent product or another suitable resolution.
Any remedy provided under this warranty does not affect the statutory rights you may have.
4. New, New – Open Box, Used and Refurbished Products
Product conditions are described as follows: New means a new, unused product; New – Open Box means a new, unused product whose packaging has been opened; Refurbished Grade A means a refurbished product with minimal cosmetic wear; Refurbished Grade B means a refurbished product showing more noticeable signs of previous use, as described and photographed in the listing; Used means a previously used product that is not sold as refurbished. The individual product listing provides the specific condition details. The SuppaTech warranty applies where stated on the product listing.
For products that are not new, the product’s age, condition and any known cosmetic marks or other characteristics may be described on the product page before purchase.
The warranty does not cover a cosmetic mark, wear or other condition that was clearly disclosed to you before purchase and does not constitute a separate hardware fault.
Your statutory rights still apply to used, New – Open Box and refurbished goods.
5. What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The SuppaTech warranty does not cover faults or damage caused by circumstances including:
- accidental damage, impact, drops or crushing;
- liquid or moisture damage;
- misuse, neglect or use contrary to reasonable operating instructions;
- unauthorised modification or inappropriate repair;
- damage caused by incompatible accessories, chargers or other equipment;
- malicious software, viruses or software installed by the user;
- problems caused solely by third-party software, operating-system configuration or user settings;
- cosmetic wear that does not affect the normal operation of the product;
- normal wear and tear where no defect is present;
- loss, theft or deliberate damage; or
- faults arising from circumstances external to the product, such as inappropriate electrical supply or physical damage.
These exclusions apply to the voluntary SuppaTech warranty only. They do not remove any statutory rights you may have where SuppaTech is legally responsible for the goods.
6. Batteries
Rechargeable batteries are consumable components and naturally lose capacity through age and use.
Normal deterioration in battery capacity through ordinary use is therefore not considered a hardware defect under the SuppaTech warranty.
However, this does not exclude a claim where a battery is actually defective or where your statutory rights otherwise apply.
7. Software and Data
The SuppaTech warranty principally covers eligible hardware faults.
Before returning a computer, laptop, tablet, storage device or other device containing personal information, you should back up any data you wish to retain wherever reasonably possible.
You should also remove personal information, sign out of accounts and remove passwords, activation locks or device-management restrictions where reasonably possible.
SuppaTech cannot guarantee that data will be preserved during diagnosis, repair or replacement.
If a fault prevents you from backing up or removing your information, please tell us when arranging the warranty return.
Customers remain responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of their important data.
8. Making a Warranty Claim
To make a warranty claim, contact:
Please provide:
- your name;
- your SuppaTech order number or other reasonable proof of purchase;
- the product concerned;
- a description of the problem; and
- any relevant photographs, error messages or other information that may help us diagnose the fault.
We may initially ask you to perform reasonable troubleshooting steps where this could resolve or identify the problem without requiring the product to be returned.
If a return is required, we will explain the return process and arrange the return postage. Please do not arrange your own return shipment unless we specifically ask you to do so.
9. Returning a Product Under Warranty
If we determine that a product needs to be returned as part of a claim under the SuppaTech Warranty, SuppaTech will arrange and pay for the return postage.
We will provide you with the appropriate return instructions and, where applicable, a prepaid returns label or arrange collection.
Please do not send the product back independently before receiving return instructions from us.
Products must be appropriately and securely packaged to protect them during transit. Where reasonably possible, please use suitable protective packaging and include the power adapter or other accessories if they are relevant to diagnosing the reported fault.
Before returning a device capable of storing personal information, please follow the data and account-removal guidance in Section 7 of this warranty.
Unless we tell you otherwise, warranty returns will be arranged to:
SuppaTech Returns
Pill IT Ltd

United Kingdom
There will be no charge to the customer for return postage arranged by SuppaTech for an accepted claim under the SuppaTech Warranty.
10. Inspection and Diagnosis
Returned products may be inspected and tested to confirm the reported fault and determine an appropriate resolution.
If our inspection identifies that the problem is caused by something that is not covered by the SuppaTech warranty, such as accidental or liquid damage, we will explain this to you.
We will not treat the terms of this warranty as limiting any statutory rights you may have.
11. Repairs and Replacements
Where a valid warranty claim is accepted, SuppaTech will determine an appropriate warranty remedy taking account of the product, fault and available replacement parts or products.
A replacement product or component may be new or refurbished where appropriate, but will be suitable for the intended warranty remedy.
Where an identical product is no longer reasonably available, we may offer an appropriate equivalent or another suitable resolution.
12. Manufacturer Warranties
Some products may also benefit from a manufacturer’s warranty.
Where applicable, details may be provided with the product or by the manufacturer.
A manufacturer’s warranty is separate from your relationship with SuppaTech as the retailer. You are not required to rely solely on a manufacturer’s warranty where you have statutory rights against SuppaTech.
13. Warranty and Your Consumer Rights
This SuppaTech warranty is an additional benefit and does not affect your statutory rights.
The expiry of the SuppaTech warranty does not necessarily mean that you no longer have rights if a product subsequently develops a fault.
For further information about returns, cancellations and faulty goods, please see our Refund & Returns Policy.
